我不喜欢粉红色。除了大象。

我终于把那只前年从台湾带回来的粉红象缝好了。塞棉花的时候我一直小心翼翼不敢塞太多，怕大象太肥会裂掉。几米画过一只粉红象，我很喜欢。现在我终于有一只了。虽然缝得不美，我也很喜欢。可是我想把它送给你。


缝好大象，开始读Philip Yancey写的《无语问上帝》(Disappointment with God)。卷一的题目底下有一个Annie Dillard的quote。“除非你想看星星，不然不需要坐在黑暗中。黑暗是必需的，但星星本身一点也不需要黑暗。”


我特地去google了英文原文。“You do not have to sit outside in the dark. If, however, you want to look at the stars, you will find that darkness is necessary. But the stars neither require nor demand it.” 


还是原文好听。不过翻译的确不是一件容易的事。要翻译得好，更加不容易。
